Street art and graffiti hailed as "masterpieces" by CNN

It’s been a long time coming, but as graffiti and street art become more popular the artform itself is beginning to be considered a more a serious artform. Before reading the story on CNN I figured that the art that was going to be featured would be mostly legal walls and Shepard Fairey street instalations. To my surprise, most of the featured pieces are raw graff from around the world, they even got a freight (kind of). I’m glad to see that grafito is finally getting the recognition it deserves as an artform, especially from a legit news organization. Psh, and they say CNN isn’t liberal media, ha! Take that FOX!
